Options for printing: magnetic business cards, full color, and more.

What format should you choose when printing? magnetic business cards, folded cards, four color, and shaped CD's are a few.

Running out of space?   Consider printing the back-side of your card (it usually doesn't cost too much more to print the back side in one color).   Or consider the folded card style (where the card is twice the size and folded down the middle -- along the longer side).   This style allows you to list more of your specific services you offer on the inside.  Just make sure that you put the pertinent contact information on the oustide, so your prospective customer can easily and quickly find out how to contat you.

Make your message stick by printing magnetic business cards.  This format is usually in color and will generally give you the opportunity to plaster your prospects' refrigerators with your sales message.  Consider making it even more useful by making the magnetic business card a calendar or local high school football schedule.

Ad some zip by using full color business cards (printers sometimes call this "4 color process").   Color printing has become more affordable in recent years, so if your product or service lends itself well to a photograph or other colorful designs, this format might be worth considering.  For example, if you are a florist, graphic designer or interior decorator, this might be a good format to display your services.

Put yourself in your cusotmer's Rolodex.   Have your cards printed to fit in a standard size Rolodex.  This cutting process can add considerable cost to your card printing, but if you want your business name to pop-up with a little tab in your customer's rolodex this can really pay off.
